To enquire into complaints against WAPDA and KESC

To keep a watch on National Power Requirements, Availability and projections and to coordinate with Planning and Development Division and other Ministries

To review feasibility studies of power projects and give comments covering technical & financial aspects

To furnish advice/recommendations to Ministry, WAPDA hydel/NTDC and KESC
on daily and monthly power generation, power demand and operational capability of thermal and hydel power stations through analysis of daily load report and monthly‘E’ forms

Review monthly progress reports of on going power projects and render advice as well as carry out site monitoring along with Planning & Development Division
